Dream Girl
Dream Girl was the first GDP project to be shot on film. Shooting initially began in the Summer of 2006 and continued intermittently until the Spring of 2007. This varying workflow was due to the fact that Michael Vincent was trying very hard to establish himself in New York taking jobs as a Script supervisor and assistant editor. It was in the SoHo basement of Larry Fessenden’s Glass Eye Pix film company that the year long edit began. When the filmmaker finally emerged to the surface he walked 7 blocks to the Pioneer Theater in the East Village and asked to screen his Film. The manager readily accepted and Dream Girl had it’s first Screening on Tuesday July 29th at 6:15 p.m. It would later go on to play at The Woodstock Film festival and then conclude its festival run at The Maryland Film Festival where Vincent was asked to speak on a Directors panel by the Maryland Film office.
Vice Scream
“Vice Scream” was the beginning of Green Dragon Pictures New York. Vincent had just moved to the city into “the smallest room in Soho” a statement he is willing to back up to any challengers. He quickly wrote the bizarre script and enlisted the help of fellow Naptowner Alexander Vogt who had already been in New York studying at the New School. The two exploited that institutions facilities and with a budget of fifty dollars created an original piece that went on to Premiere at Trevor and Jamiel’s apartment in Flatbush. After escaping the after party and therefore the cleaning duties attached Vogt and Vincent smoked a celebratory blunt to their newfound partnership.

Oracle Serious
Oracle Serious was the first work produced by the Green Dragon label. It was Filmed in the “Dragon Lair” (the main hangout of an underground Annapolitan syndicate with the initials RB) as well as their day time play place where members participated in friendly cat and mouse games with local authorities. The movie has two characters “Serious” played by Michael Vincent and Brandon Weill as the “Oracle” who meet in a strange place at the top of a stairway. It was edited in less than 24 hours by GDP founding member Jess Jacobson in his freshman dorm room, and was subsequently rejected from the Annapolis Film Festival for “excessive drug use”.
